Celebrations

We have had a lot of good things happening around here lately.

First, and most importantly "Bebe" was able to get all the junk out of Shelby's hair using DeSolvit (safe for children's skin according to the bottle):

Just kidding, of course the most exciting news was that Shelby did not have any seizures during her 24-hour EEG.  This doesn't mean that she never has any seizures, but it was very good news, and we hope it continues.  Our neurologist thinks it's  because we have her medication at the right level.  I'm not 100% sold on that yet, since we never had a 24-hour EEG done BEFORE she was medicated.  We will investigate that more later, but right now we are happy.  Also, Shelby got her cast off this week, and she was thrilled!  Here she is having fun with her great-grandmother Burney.

Finally, I wanted to show everyone the land that that we are now the proud owners of (along with my brother and parents). We're working on creating a little Kinnaird family mountain compound. The views are spectacular.  It's going to take a little work to get the it looking good again after the previous owner had portions of it logged, but we are up to the task:

Here's another view from about half-way up the property.  There are 360-degree views from the top.  We are very excited and can't wait to build our house here (a few years from now).

  1. Hello Tiffany, Trip, Pete, Bea, and family!
I have been following Shelby's recent pictures and stories, and am excited to see all of your encouraging news. And how about that property! What a view!
We are looking forward to seeing members of the Mattice family this summer at Kelly's wedding. We are in the thick of preparations and decisions right now, thinking we need to get those invitations out soon...
I guess another grandchild is coming soon, too, and we are anxious to hear the news there, too. (She could go today and hit my birthday!)
We think of you often and can't wait to see you.
