People say that your bedroom should be a sanctuary....for the past 7 years mine has been the stash-all room to throw things in where we happen to sleep. My mom made Trip and me a beautiful batik quilt for Christmas and it inspired me to organize the bedroom, purchase a bed, and paint the room seafoam blue. Since this photo was taken, Trip has hung curtains and pictures. I feel like we finally have a "grown-up" bedroom, and it is definitely a sanctuary (which can be a problem when the alarm rings at 5:30 a.m.). Huge thanks to my talented mom for the quilt and to dad for helping us paint!
